Ovulation Calendar App Reviews
It is a shame that I wasted 10 dollars on something as one dimensional as this application. I am here to prevent anyone from getting sucked in to something they think would be informative or even mildly entertaining. Not so. Run.
Calendar version
Hi! I dont have in such version the Preferences and lock calendar. Why?
Ive been searching for a mac app like this for a long time. Ive tried lots of them with endless wizards and pointless charts. This app on the other hand, is really simple to use; it gets to the point and autocalculates what I failed to enter. I love it.
My wife have been an iPhone user of this app for quite a while now. This Mac release continue to provide the applications excellence we are used to; many women we know have found it invaluable. We are very happy with this app and we praise the developer passion to continue supporting it. If you ever have a question like we had one day, do not hesitate to contact him; he gets back you shortly. I like that! My wife and I are very please with this app and really recommend it to anyone.
I bought this item in February of 2011 while I was deployed and kept track of my periods since getting back to the states in May of 2011. In June 2011 when Me and My husband decided to go by the calendar on when was our best time to get pregnant, I kid you not, it is now July 2nd and I am pregnant. I thank this calendar for it because it was easy and also very accurate and also knows that everyones periods arent 28 days apart. My baby is due March 6th and I am super excited. I definitely recommend this to women who want to conceive and for those who just want to keep track of their periods and ovulation. Good Luck Ladies...
This app takes the guess work out of trying to figure out how long your average cycle length is. It also gives you places for notes, basal body temp, and symptoms like cervical mucus, pms, stress, SEX, etc. It really is work the money if you are seriously trying to get pregnant. I would suggest buying this app as soon as you get off birth control. My Doctor was surprised at how well it helps keep track of all my information. (Plus this way, I dont have to remember everything). The only thing is that if you forget your password, there isnt a security question…and you are locked out.
I just bought this and it does just what I want-though I was just looking for a simple period calculator- this could be useful for when i do start haveing sex or want a baby. Its easy to use and convenient. One thing I do have to say that I dont like about it is how its saying if you have sex this or that day you can have a boy, or this day a girl. The gender of the baby has to do with the man NOT the women (come on now, we lern that in middle school sex-ed). But small silly thing like that doesnt matter. Though it makes me worried about the accuracy of the rest of the app.
Program works as advertised, but suffers from a serious of small issues that should be fixed. For example, if you accidentally enter data on the wrong day, it is impossible to remove that data. There is no way to print the calendar besides taking a screenshot. The temperatue graphs are broken over calendar months which makes it hard to see the complete cycles. Sometimes the coloring of the "period days" is broken (I reported this issue to the developer who promptly confirmed the problem, but then never fixed it.). Etc. Would upgrade review to five stars if these issues were fixed.
It seemed really good and organized at first but then I realized it cannot account for periods that last longer than 5 days. When I tried to mark the 10th day of my period it said it was “too close to my previous period” but it was actually part of the same cycle. It also counts the spotting at the begining when my doc clearly stated that the first day of the cycle was the first day of real flow, not spotting the few days before. After I realized it was tracking right, I knew all the fertile days were most likely off too.
